What is inside each PDF
The 1 page PDF has all eight verses and the doha on a single A4 page, in red ink, nothing else. It is the easiest one to print, laminate and keep near the diya.
The Hindi PDF has the complete eight verses and the doha in Devanagari, in a big size that is easy to read. The English PDF has the Roman reading with the meaning of each verse, for those who cannot read Hindi yet.
The PDFs in other scripts are the same 1 page layout. The words are not translated. They are the Gita Press Hindi text written letter for letter in Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam or Punjabi (Gurmukhi) letters, so a family in Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi or Amritsar can do the same paath in the letters they read every day.
Every PDF has a small header and the site name at the bottom. No ads, and no watermark across the text.
Which one to pick
If you can read Devanagari, take the Hindi PDF or the 1 page PDF, it is the actual paath. If you read another Indian script more easily, take the PDF in that script. If you want to understand what you are saying, take the English PDF for the meaning. Many people keep two, one for the daily paath and one to learn from.
How to use it
On a phone the PDF opens straight in the browser. You can read from there or save it for offline. To print, choose A4 size. A lot of devotees print the 1 page PDF, laminate it, and keep it near the diya so the paper does not spoil. You are welcome to share the file on WhatsApp with family.

Yes. There is a 1 page PDF in Gujarati, Bengali, Odia, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Punjabi letters. The words are the same Awadhi words of Tulsidas ji, only written in that script letter for letter, so you can do the same paath even if you do not read Hindi.
Are the Gujarati, Telugu and other PDFs a translation?
No. Nothing is translated. The paath is the same, only the letters change. If you want to know what the verses mean, take the English PDF, it has the meaning of every verse.
Is there a Tamil Hanuman Ashtak PDF?
Not yet. Tamil letters cannot show some sounds of the Ashtak, like the difference between क, ख, ग and घ, so a letter for letter copy would be read wrongly. Till then, the English PDF with Roman letters is the best one to read from.
Is this the Gita Press Hanuman Ashtak PDF?
The Ashtak text in these PDFs is checked word for word against the Gita Press book Bhaktaraj Hanuman (book no. 185), so the words are the same. The PDF itself is made by me for this site. For Gita Press's own printed book, please buy it from a Gita Press shop or their website, it costs very little and supports their seva.
Which PDF should a beginner take?
Take the English one first. It has the Roman reading and the meaning, so you can learn the words and understand them, then move to the Hindi paath later.
