A little about the Hanuman Sathika
The word Sathika comes from satha, sixty, for its sixty verses. Where the Chalisa praises Hanuman ji in forty verses, the Sathika takes its time and walks through his leelas from the Ramayan in more detail, his birth, the leap for the sun, the search for Sita ji, the burning of Lanka, bringing the sanjeevani for Lakshman ji, and the rescue from Ahiravan in Patal. Again and again it returns to one idea, that Hanuman ji cuts the bandhan of those in trouble.

How to read it
Tuesday is the special day. Many devotees light a diya and dhoop, or do a small havan, sit before Hanuman ji, and read the whole Sathika once with full dhyan. There is no hard rule of counting. A clean heart is the main thing. It goes well after the Hanuman Chalisa and the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Ashtak.
